キング牧師の誕生日（1月15日）に近い毎年1月の第3月曜日を「マーティン・ルーサー・キング、ジュニア・デー」として祝日としている。

彼がいなかったら今のオバマ大統領はもちろん人種差別により数多くの命や才能が犠牲になっていただろう。

中学にやった記憶って意外と覚えてるもんだ。
